DashFolio started as a personal tool. We were running a handful of systematic strategies across several currencies, and no spreadsheet or broker statement could answer a simple question: how is each strategy actually performing?
So we built the answer. What began as a side project to make sense of our own trading turned into a full portfolio-analytics platform, refined trade after trade, edge case after edge case, until it did exactly what we needed. Today it does the same for traders and portfolio managers running real money across multiple strategies.
Spreadsheets break. Statements lie. Brokers disagree.
Most active traders end up with a setup that looks the same: a tangle of broker CSV exports, a couple of spreadsheets that almost reconcile, and a vague feeling that the real P&L is somewhere between what the broker shows and what you calculated last weekend.
We've been there. Trading multiple strategies across IBKR sub-accounts, currencies that drift overnight, dividends that show up in the wrong account, corporate actions that no spreadsheet ever quite handles. The tools we tried (portfolio trackers, accounting software, generic dashboards) were built for buy-and-hold investors, not for people running systematic strategies at scale.
So we built DashFolio. Every trade reconciled. Every round-trip matched. Every dividend, transfer, and corporate action traced back to a position. Multi-currency that always adds up. The kind of platform we wanted when we were the ones managing the spreadsheet.
